Anything and everyrhing lol.is there info online i can look up?

I was sent a few roaches with an order of assassin bugs.the seller said they were H.flexivitatta, but i cant find info on them.and no one seems to know what they are.i have 5 nymphs.they seem to like to burrow.any info would be appreciated.

Would love to see the shrooms.would they be safe in a high humidity enclosure?

i was wondering,if i fed hissers tetracolor fish flake color enhancer flakes for the first 6months or more of their lives,do you think i would end up with extra colorful adult hissers?also ive read that cockroaches fed algae,end up stunted as far as size.the flakes im feeding have algae.i assume its spirulina but its not specified in the ingredients.it just sais algae meal.

i have fish flakes,but are they going to find the bowl in a 10g tank??

finally,i got some nymphs!i was worried that the small heat pad under the enclosure wasnt enough warmth for them to breed but i guess everything is ok, because i finally got about 30+ babies crawling around!im so excited.i know i know,for you guys its an everyday occurance,but these are my first roaches..and im excited! pictures coming soon.oh,and thanks to everyone here for helping me with all the info i needed to get my colony started.

ide say 3 1/2" if they sometimes molt after they appear adult,like youve seen them do before ,then thats great news.the reason i went with oblonganatas is for the impressive size.that would suck if i end up with portentosa sizes.plus,i wanted to try to select breed some monster oblonganatas.

i just had a few of my oblonganata males mature,and i have to say,im not that impressed.one is pretty big but the others are about the size of small mature portentosas.i was expecting HUGE adults.

do you think he'll get bigger than this?

and the dumb thing is,there talking about something that has never happened yet,or may never happen.getting everyone in a tissy for no reason.ugh!

i actually did the flour thing.the roaches were pretty (h)issed off at first,and i was worried about them for the next two days after i did it,but it worked.no mites.its been 3 weeks and not one sight of mites.didnt lose one roach and there clean.dont know if you want to go through the aggravation and messiness but im kinda happy they have no mites.makes me feel like a better roach keeper.lol if that makes any sense.

can it be them fighting over a female as well?its kind of like a quick shaky hiss.

now,i know what it sounds like when they hiss when you handle them..but i keep hearing them make a hissing that sounds almost like a cicada or rattle snake.what are they doing in there?is it a mating thing,or territory?i hear it like 10 times a day.
