Hisser Mites on Elliptorhina
PeriplanetaAmericana replied to Allpet Roaches's topic in General Blattodea Discussions
Hi Orin! I had a G. portentosa culture with mites. I separated them in pairs and after that, I put some bleach (not too much) in a glass with water. Then, I taked a piece of hygienic paper (the paper that we use to clean our rear ) put a piece of it in the water and "clean softly the roaches. It was succesful! Best regards, Javier. -
It´s true . I love pics of molting roaches, it means that the roach is healthy :-) Best regards, Javier.

Hey! I bought 5 L. subcinta on March-April (I don't remember very well), 1 subadult male nynph, 2 adult males and 2 adult females. They all died (I don't know why) except one female. I want to know how long lasts the gestation? Thanks! Best regards, Javier.

Where are they from? They seem like Panesthia or Macropanesthia genus. Best regards, Javier.

How much do your roaches really eat?
PeriplanetaAmericana replied to Mad About Cichlids's topic in Food and Feeding
Well, I have a 10,000 Shelfordella tartara (Blatta lateralis) colony, so they eat a lot. They eat one big orange (150-200 gr) and 200 gr of dog food mixed with hens food. I also give them other fruits and veggies. Best regards, Javier. -
Hallo Tommy! I´m from Spain, it´s nice to see Europeans here (the US people are very friendly too ). I have 17 kinds of roaches, how many do you have? I´m interested to buy you some rare roaches if you have them for sale. Best regards, Javier.

Archiblatta hoeveni's common name is what?
PeriplanetaAmericana replied to pampo's topic in General Blattodea Discussions
I think that they don´t have common name. I prefer the latin name becouse is more exactly than the common one. Best regards, Javier. -
BugmanPrice, it isn´t good idea to put in the same tank different roaches becouse they fight for the food and for hiding places so they can hurt themselves and eat the ootheca of the other roaches. Best regards, Javier.

I use an hermetic cage of 40x30x35 (sorry, I don't know how many gallons are) and I made a hole and put in it metalic mesh, like EffeCi's cage. Mines have substratum for the ninphs. Best regards, Javier.
