  1. Thanks Orin! Well, yesterday one of the Blattidae sp. "Sri Lanka" ootheca hatched and now I have 10 new little roaches . The female left the ootheca in the lasts days of September, and it hatched in the lasts days of November, so, 2 months. Best regards, Javier.

  4. Hi Orin! I had a G. portentosa culture with mites. I separated them in pairs and after that, I put some bleach (not too much) in a glass with water. Then, I taked a piece of hygienic paper (the paper that we use to clean our rear ) put a piece of it in the water and "clean softly the roaches. It was succesful! Best regards, Javier.

  7. Hey! I bought 5 L. subcinta on March-April (I don't remember very well), 1 subadult male nynph, 2 adult males and 2 adult females. They all died (I don't know why) except one female. I want to know how long lasts the gestation? Thanks! Best regards, Javier.

  10. Well, I have a 10,000 Shelfordella tartara (Blatta lateralis) colony, so they eat a lot. They eat one big orange (150-200 gr) and 200 gr of dog food mixed with hens food. I also give them other fruits and veggies. Best regards, Javier.

Loboptera decipiens: These are some "small" Archimandrita tesselata: Adult female: Subadult ninph: These ar some "small" Blaberus giganteus too: Adult female: Juvenile ninph: I hope to post more pics .   16. BugmanPrice, it isn´t good idea to put in the same tank different roaches becouse they fight for the food and for hiding places so they can hurt themselves and eat the ootheca of the other roaches. Best regards, Javier.

  20. Hi! How many ootheca left the females in a month? They're pest but they're beautiful. In Spain we have Loboptera decipiens, they're very beautiful too. Best regards, Javier.
  21. I use an hermetic cage of 40x30x35 (sorry, I don't know how many gallons are) and I made a hole and put in it metalic mesh, like EffeCi's cage. Mines have substratum for the ninphs. Best regards, Javier.
