9-21-00 Hi All: I did a little research on the cockroaches that I described as "Asian" in my post of 9/18/00 02:19:07 below. On page 13 of one of my favorite resources, Allpet Roaches by McMonigle & Willis, you will find the "Oriental cockroach," Blatta orientalis. If you don't already have this book you can access another picture posted by researcher Joseph G. 9-18-00 In sharp contrast to the classy hissing cockroaches that I have in my middle school classroom, I have had the opportunity to gather a breeding group of the Asian cockroaches which are a continuous "guest" in my building. Is anyone out there interested in these?? e-mail fuzzman@jnlk.com
