I was wondering how often do you feed your roaches? please share it Once a week twice a week three times a week every other day everyday
-
bought some and tried it. my roachs seem to love it. i scattered the pellets out on the tank floor and my roaches spread out every where to eat them. i will also be using this once a week.
-
yup, i bought a jar and my roaches love it. the flavor that i used was vegetable beef. i'll give them a spoon full once a week as a supplement or treat. thanks for the recommendation :-)

thanks, the reason that i asked is because i am thinking about adding the dwarf or the orange isopods into my B. giganteous tank. I wanted a species that i can easily control. i noticed that orange isopods produce pretty fast too. i am going to add the dwarf isopods to the tanks tho. If they get out of control i can dry out the tank and kill most of them if I need to.

I was wondering... which of the two species produce quicker, the dwarf or the orange?

reptile shows are good places to buy hollow logs and drift woods.

haha, very cool, I wish that someone made me one of those for Christmas. It would be even cooler if you can make it hiss. have a Merry Christmas to you and your love ones. jason

well, i went out shopping today at Sam's club and they had baby food, but it wasn't the brand that you recommended. I looked at the nutrition label on the back and noticed that they didn't have that much good in them so i decided that i wasn't going to waste my money on them. eventually i'll look for the good ones and get them for my roaches.

wow, very informative. where did you get all these information from?

I noticed that my hissers are active at night. i would becareful not to mix my Blatta lateralis with the Gromphadorhina portentosa. I mixed my B. lateralis with my B. dubia in the past and the B. lateralis was attacking my molting B. dubia.

is that a. G. oblongonata by the way?
-
i'll agree to that!!!
-
they are. the adults don't live very long, just long enough to breed and then they die.
-
there will be about 90 of them in a 29 gal tanks with some giant hissers. food and water is not going to be a problem.
-
will there be any problem housing B. giganteus with giant hissers? do you think that the B. giganteus will nibbles on a molting hisser? thanks j

why don't you just post an ads to trade off some lobsters for Turkish roaches instead of buying them .

Hi, i seriously need some advice. I had some E. distanti in the past and they all died because they had molting. I just bought 100 and the first one to molt was having problem getting out of its skin. I am thinking that maybe i am keeping it too humid? I had assassin that i kept too humid and they had problem molting, so i am thinking that it maybe the same thing. how do you keep your E. distanti? what am i doing wrong? I have mine in a 14"x8"x14" plastic shoe box with 2" of coco fiber semimoist. I have a heat mat under heat that keep the temperature at 75 F and the lid has a screen (60% is screen). thanks, jason

glad to hear that most of us have the same opinion on this matter. by the way, i was wondering... is it true that some species of roaches only need to mate once and then become fertile for a very long time. like they have numberous eggcases or babies before they need to breed again? i noticed that my females Deropeltis paulinoi bred once and laid many eggcases afward without mating inbetween laying time.

I personal don't like the hybrid Blaberus. I just like them pure, not to mention that there are a lot of Blaberus species to choose from already. I was wondering what is Orin going to do with the nymphs that are coming.
