This is great! I thought they would be communal as well since i always find them bunched up together by the dozens in the wild.

I did not get every roach in the photos. I have 5 adult males.

Just a couple of photos of my sexy legs cockroach colony. They found themselves in the hobby last year. I love how orange legs contrast with the jet black bodies. Most have molted into adults by now but I do still have some tiny ones running around. They laid their first ooths of the year around the end of April.

they are native to south eastern USA

i now have some adults and about 5 ooths so far

as of now i have 3 hopefully i'll find more soon!

actually i think it is just from where it "glued" me and then the dusty leaves in the container stuck to it..... after i gave it a mist it looks fine i think....hopefully i panicked for nothing

i was capable of finding what i believe to be Ischnoptera deropeltiformis today but when i got home i noticed it was injured!...i think it looks like it is missing a piece of its exoskeleton? think it will survive? i am not sure if this injury was already there or happened during the transport home
