  1. Good info. They'd probably take a few days longer at 75F.
  2. If they're molting it can also be a lack of moisture but crowding is a potential cause.
  3. Welcome! This is the oldest continuously running invertebrate forum on the internet though who knows how long that will last. Glad to have you.
  4. Very nice! Want to write a short article for invertebrates-magazine?
  5. Thanks for trying to help out!

My pleasure! I have little patience with spammers, phishers, and other digital vermin.

  6. I notice the milkbacks revert to dairy cow sometimes, curious if some of these will revert to orange dairy cow, good luck
  7. What price are you looking for? It does seem most breeders are selling off fusca as giganteus which aren't actually hybrids, just not giganteus.
  8. 6-10 months from birth with females on the slower end.
  9. You can always try adding some bark with lichen on it.
  10. Hissers are nocturnal so hopefully she's just sleeping during the day. Try checking on her at night time. They do come out during the day sometimes, especially when they don't feel threatened.
  11. Macropanesthia rhinoceros can't even climb over a stick.
  12. The images on those vendor pages appear to be what we have long called fusca, no matter what it is it is not giganteus. It is a big species but tiny compared to giganteus. Compare those images to the coloration of the real giganteus:
  13. The picture they have does not look like giganteus to me.
  14. For me giganteus are easier than almost anything else. I feed them only dog food and haven't lost the culture in 30 years. Not productive enough for a decent feeder and only so many adults coexist but a great display creature.
  15. I recommend pure-blood G. oblongonota or Macropanesthia, or giganteus.
  16. Welcome! I'd suggest bigger containers for the isopods. Try vegetarian foods. You can get them far cheaper online but there is shipping cost and possible DOA. The zebra and dairy cows are probably among the best staples for trading.
