Hello everyone. I have one enclosure for all my roaches, should I put all the adults in another enclosure and leave all the smaller ones in another?

Hello everyone, I have started 6 months or so ago,to breed discoid. Had success getting them to winged status , not sexed yet. Buddy of mine wants to get rid of his he has been breeding,I aquired them. They looked ragged as hell,but he had a bunch of very small ,small baby discoids running around, My question is most, of the adults had chewed wings, some worse than others. Is this a problem of not enough food for everyone or dominantion issues. I had recently sexed them , you can the difference, I have about 9 males and 16 female both had some with chewed wings . Sorry the the novel, any info is appreciated. Love that there a forum for just about anything
