The last visible segment on the female's abdomen is the largest, smallest on the male. The male's horns usually aren't notable until subadult. Thanks orin, let's say however that i am looking to have the minimum amount of males per female what is the minimum ratio of males you would want to have per female. Matt K Posted August 13, 2007 Share Posted August 13, 2007 For hissers, it does not take many males at all! Mine are about 1:8 ratio and seem to do fine. Though would production be better with more males? That is an Orin question for sure. Odds are, yes. But how many is enough? That seems relative to how many you feed off....
