We have been purchasing them from Carolina Biological Supply, but they always seem to have trouble getting them here alive, or if they do make it here alive most of them end up dying within a couple days. I can only assume it has to do with the way they are shipped- they are express mailed overnight in paper cans with tiny holes (along with some sliced potato and wadded paper toweling). Could it be they aren't getting enough oxygen, heat or moisture? Can anyone recommend a RELIABLE supplier of American cockroaches, or know of a way to ship these roaches so they survive the trip?
