Are they easy to breed? I have been wary of getting long winged roaches because I have heard they get wing deformities, but these guys are beautiful!!

All of my Blaberus species are easy to breed and are very low maintenance. Here is what I have:

Blaberus boliviensis (Bolivian / Double-Dot Roach)

Blaberus cf. matogrossensis (Shield-Spot Roach)

Blaberus colosseus "Peru Giant" (Colossal Roach)

Blaberus craniifer (Death's Head Roach: Orin McMonigle Strain)

Blaberus discoidalis (Discoid Roach)

Blaberus giganteus (Giant Cave Roach)

Blaberus parabolicus (Peruvian Black Head Roach)

Ok, I guess I'll add them to my wish list, lol! For a vertical surface, would a cereal box do? And how long does it take for nymphs to mature?

I would think a cereal box may collapse. I am not sure how long the nymphs take to mature. It is specific to the species and the husbandry but I have never kept records. Now I can tell you how long it takes for some of my rare millipedes to mature...forever. :)

Wow! I never realized how beautiful those black wings on them were! :)

IKR? Fresh adults have glossy wings that's super attractive (IMO) :)

I highly recommend getting this species! They are really striking!

Awesome! Mine seemed to take forever to mature. Are these the UC riverside, Orin, or "standard"? I have the UC riverside myself.

These are UCR strain :) Mine take really long time to mature too!
