Step by step how to ship insects?

I've examined the different packaging materials and techniques that people use and it seems that as long as the insect containers are escape proof, have enough holes, and are in a sturdy box marked "live animals" they do well in the mail.  There have been delays an lost packages recently, and I'm currently working on a case of a package via FedEx that is missing.  I contacted FedEX and they said they did not have the package.  When I told the shipper about this they immediately started an investigation.  The shipper included food and a source for water/moisture because occasionally packages are misplaced.  Sadly My package has been in transit for about 15 days.  I hope it is found for the sake of the live animals and they are helped, but reality is they may not be rescued.  😞
