I thought I would post some pictures of this neat Parcoblatta species! All specimens were caught in Boise, Idaho.

I hope I can breed them successfully too! I do not belive anyone has tried keeping stock from Idaho, so for all we know this strain could be much easier to keep than the others! Or at least that's what I'm hoping for, lol!

My subadult male molted today!!! :D I really hope I can breed it with my adult female and get some fertile ooths before she dies!

Just looked in the container today and found this!

Looks like I'll be having some P.americana nymphs soon! :D

P.S: One of the 3 wild caught nymphs matured into an adult female, which is the one pictured above. My old female has yet to produce any ooths.

Thanks! At least the nymphs can't climb glass, right? How long do Parcoblatta ooths usually take to hatch?

I've never bred any other Parcoblatta sp, so I wouldn'tt know. The males are 20 mm long, and the females are like 16.
