Polyphaga obscura

I really enjoy the polyphagids because to me they have a certain mysterious quality to them that make them appealing. I also like thier overall shapes and colors which add to thier mystique. The only drawback to them is that most of them grow so VERY slow! ;) But always worth the wait....!!!

Would love it if those ootheca hatched as quickly as some others seem to.

I agree with you Matt that the wait can be long with Polyphaga. But I love this species anyway. :) At the moment I keep 3 different species but I hope to get some more species in the future. I have some Polyphaga obscura nymphs up for trade if someone is interested.
