Big problem...

I didnt think a grain mite problem could get so large... They are in every roach container, on my computer, in the grain based feed I use for the roaches, and I cant stand it anymore. I need a solution to this huge problem soon... Any suggestions?

I do not know, sorry. I had a mite problem, too, with my Rhyparobia sp. "Malaysia". I put the Rhyparobia sp. "Malaysia" into a cage with Blatta lateralis or (not sure which I did, either moved them or did not move them) added some Blatta lateralis into the Rhyparobia sp. "Malaysia" container and the mites started disappearing. I do not know why the mites started disappearing. These mites I think came from my fruit fly cultures, but they seemed to weaken my Rhyparobia sp. "Malaysia" (I do not know if the mites were the cause of weakening the roaches either.).

When I had a huge mite infestation I kept the enclosure drier for a little while and introduced A. diaperinus. After a few weeks, the mites were all gone and haven't returned since. They don't seem to bother the hisser mites much so that's another plus. I'd also recommend storing the grain based food in zip lock baggies to protect it. I think I read something about someone using predatory mites too.

I don't know of a quick solution to grain mites unfortunately. It'll be especially hard if they're in every enclosure.
