Hi.

I have been away from this forum a couple of years. My roach collection is not what it just to be. But Im starting to regrow my interest. If someone is interested in trading some species just let me know. Besides roaches I keep and breed some species of isopods and millipedes.

My species list:

Archimandrita tesselata

Blaberus atropos

Blaberus colloseus

Byrsotria rothi

Eublaberus sp Ivory

Eupolyphaga sinensis

Eurgaula capucina

Gyna caffrorum

Gyna lurida

Lucihormetica grossei

Luxihormetica veruccosa

Pycnoscelus femapterus

Therea bernhardti

Therea olegrandjeani

Welcome back! Wow, you still have quite a collection; it must've been quite large! Since you have such a well-rounded collection, do you plan on specializing in something or adding something difficult or very rare? If so, what would that be? I hope your interest continues to be strong and you enjoy continual positive experiences!

Thank you!

I have allways found Polyphagidae and Panestiinae especially interesting so my intention is to add some species from that family and sub family. I really miss my Panesthia angustipennis cognata and Polyphaga obscura cultures.

Welcome back to the forum! :) Pretty good collection there, Polyphagidae/Corydiidae and Panesthiinae are some of my favorite groups as well, Perisphaerinae is my number one favorite!

Welcome back to the forum, as Skyvie said you still have quite a collection. But good luck getting it back to its former size! =)

Thanks!

Im not sure that I would like to have all the species I ones had ?. Im more going after picking the raisins from the cake.

One problem is that I dont have any rare species any longer so trading is going to be a problem. But someway or another I will probably, given the time, build a nice collection again.

Do you keep any Perispharinae?

Corydidarum pygmaea makes a fine addition to any collection. I hope your colony is thriving.

Yeah, they are really cool! :) Well I have two adult females, I got one of them to produce a single litter of nymphs, will definitely need more to keep the culture going though, so it's just a waiting game from here...

Know how it is to start a colony with just a few individuals. Somertimes you manage to establish a colony from just a single female and sometimes it doesnt work at all. I hope you will end up with a thriving colony eventually. Waiting sucks :)

Yeah, I started with six nymphs, two were females, and the rest were males... I'm pretty optimistic that the females will give birth again, so hopefully I'll see more nymphs soon, waiting is the worst part lol. Thanks, me too! :)
