I was wondering the same thing. I have adults that are laying ooths like crazy now and I pull them. I put them in a container with the same substrate and temperature. I only pull them to be able to check on newborn nymphs - I have heard they are tiny. But - I am nervous about having the right temperature and moisture for them to hatch. I think I will contact the girl that I got them from - she has had great success breeding them.

I prefer to leave them alone, in the same enclosure as the adults. If the adults are healthy, the ootheca will be too.
