Desided to move my Hissers that I purchased not too long ago into a different tub and found a couple dead adults, bummer.

Then I noticed about a half dozen little bitty watermelon sized brown baby roaches.
That's also when I noticed that they can climb very quickly up the sides of the enclosure. This prompted me to install a slick barrier which I hadn't needed with the larger adults.
At first I thought they were another kind of roach because they looked so different than the adults. Then I calmed down, hit the Archives and what-not and eased my apprehensions with a good dose of reading and study.

I guess I just had to tell someone that understood and didn't just unknowingly look at me like I was weird.
Tell others that understand the excitement of your first babies in a new hobby.

I'm pretty stoked.

Its always nice to see new babies appear with any species... !! Most are just terribly cute too.
