Acanthosaura is the genus. Does anyone have experience with these?

Closest I can come is our pet water dragon.

Amazingly, I saw one of these at a somewhat local pet store today. I really like the spikes down the back of the head. I'm sure we would have gotten it if we didn't already have a water dragon.

I like water dragons way better. These are somewhat more difficult to maintain successfully. I found a care sheet on-line, but nothing beats a conversation with somebody who has first hand experience.

true true! i am told, and considering getting a water dragon when i have the space for a good display tank, as i had iguanas thrive and breed for over a decade, so supposedly the dragons are alot easier to keep. i would be happy to get feed back also for future reference.
