Zephyr
Do we have any that aren't pests? I just found what I think may be a roach underneath a piece of astro turf. It can't be more than 1/3 of an inch long.

Zephyr
Yeah, I'm not sure if it's a roach or not. x.x
Allpet Roaches
Some nonpest species native to Michigan: Parcoblatta uhleriana and Parcoblatta lata. Probably other Parcoblatta, Ischnoptera deropeltiformis and Cryptocercus (found in Ohio but maybe not as far north as Michigan). All of these would normally be found in or under large rotting logs. Zephyr
Roach? That's the best pic I could get, it was so small. x.x
Allpet Roaches
That's a true bug (hemipteran) not a cockroach. If you look at it's mouth you'll see it has a rostrum (long tube-shaped mouth) not the biting mouthparts of a cockroach.
EffeCi
It may belong to Family Lygeidae , or Myridae, or closely related...
Zephyr
I looked at the front legs, and they reminded me of parcoblatta. x.x
