I get the impression there may be more than a handful of people who keep / rear these in captivity. I have been thinking about getting 3 and trying my luck. Can anyone report what its really like to keep them? Are they active at all or pretty stationary? How frequently do they feed? (every day, once a week, once a month...) etc......

Thoughts?

I have three (two females and one male). If you keep the temp and humidity up they will be pretty active. They do like to hide sometimes so try to keep the hide spots to a minimum if you want to see them more often. I give mine 6 crickets a week and they always seem to dissapear. I haven't been lucky enough to catch one eating a crick yet.
