Zephyr
Some beautiful adults that grew from nymphs I got from Orin. If you want B. fusca, don't settle for hybrids. The real deal is much, much cooler.

Zephyr
The cool thing is that some of those adults are as old as two months, and they still have that lovely "fresh n' crisp" look to them.

Dennis
I think they don't bite wings like orange heads. Half of my culture matured and seems like they are all male or maybe I got it wrong how to sex B. fusca.
Zephyr
Other than the universal sexing method (ie flipping them over and looking at the terminal segments) you can sex the adults fairly well by colors. The males are smaller and have a higher contrast between the elytral band and the rest of the body, whereas the females are larger and darker. (In the last photo, all are males except the one on the bottom.)
