Does anyone have experience with these? August ooths from WC adults have hatched, but the literature on their care is scarce/nonexiestent. Would love to get a breeding colony established because the adults would make perfect sling food.

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCb7PTswd2jq3Aacqw50LBZg Cockroach TV, if you can understand German, or tolerate auto-subtitles is a good channel for all sorts of species.

I have a set of containers that are partially made from MDF that I could use to house some of my roaches, but am concerned about the adverse effects of a humid environment on the MDF. Can anyone recommend a waterproof stain/paint that will not harm the roaches too? Species that I may put in the containers are Blaberus, Eublaberus, Hissers, QMCs, Gyna and Panchlora

Which roach species can reliably have the most generations in a period of time - is there any one/few species that stand out as being quick to mature and having short gestation periods compared to most roaches?

Thanks for the advice, I've ordered coco bricks - only the best for the mightiest of roaches!

I see a lot of threads that talk about both fine soils and sand, so would vermiculite be a viable alternative? I have some nymphs on the way and want to know if I need to go out and buy a different substrate to the vermiculite I have.
