It requires Adobe Acrobat Reader to read it. I am downloading it now to take a look at it. John J Starr Jr . Please visit my roach info pages at... 6. Posted by George Beccaloni on 4/6/2006, 11:27 am 157.140.5.36 Just to let you all know that the Blattodea Culture Group (BCG), originally formed in 1986, has been revived after a long period of dormancy, and that the first issue of its new colour journal, Cockroach Studies (CS), has recently been printed. CS will be published twice yearly and its aims are to disseminate information about the biology, ecology and taxonomy of cockroaches, as well as to provide practical advice on how to rear these fascinating insects in captivity. The first issue of CS is free and a pdf of it can be downloaded from the following link:- http://www.nhm.ac.uk/research-curation/sta...udiesIssue1.pdf BCG members will be able to obtain livestock of cockroaches free of charge from the Livestock Coordinator, who has a huge range of different cockroach species in culture. The BCG will also arrange meetings for members to meet, listen to talks, and exchange livestock. This year's meeting is due to be held on Sunday 1st October at the Natural History Museum in London, England. If you are interested in joining the BCG then please download and complete a membership form (http://www.bcg-online.com/media/BCG Member.pdf) and send it by e-mail to the Membership Secretary, Mr Roland Dussi (mailto:roland.dusi@frunol-delicia.de). The annual subscription fees are 20 Euros for European (including British!) members and 30 euros for overseas members. Subscriptions can be paid using PayPal and sent to the following account RolandDusi@aol.com g.beccaloni@nhm.ac.uk

  10. Posted by Lindsay on 1/2/2007, 2:04 am 72.228.10.175 I need to get rid of around 1000-1500+ dubia nymphs, all sizes. Would prefer to sell as one lot, but will consider 2-3 lots of 500+ if there is no offer for all. I have had several e-mails in the past couple months asking for dubias. Unfortunately I had none really available and to sift through all those e-mails would be very time consuming. So I am posting another ad and going by a first come/pay first serve basis. So hurry while there is some still in stock 1500+ for $185 OR 500+ for $90 1000+ for $140 The prices have increased by $10 since last ad because of winter reproduction rate etc. Still a VERY good deal I will include overcounts and probably a handful of adults if 1500 are purchased at one time. The prices above do not include shipping. Because of the weather and the fact that I hate to send a product without a guarantee, I prefer express shipping. They will be sent with a heat pack and double boxed with insulation or in a single box with styrofoam insulation. All this is included in the shipping price. I am charging exact shipping only, that means I am not charging for the shipping supplies at this time. You can e-mail me at: adopted_daughter@hotmail.com Thank you, Lindsay

  18. Posted by Lindsay on 9/25/2006, 11:13 pm, in reply to "Dubia and Hissing Roaches for sale CHEAP! " 72.228.45.174 I made a mistake, under hissers it should read "and a few broods of babies (newborn to one month old or so)". Not a brood of babies. Thank you and sorry about the confusion. Lindsay
  19. Posted by Lindsay on 9/25/2006, 8:22 am 72.228.45.174 Time to make room again so I plan to sell a few large lots of dubias and my small colony of established hissers. Blaptica Dubias for Sale - Cheapest Prices Around! 250 for $55 (all sized nymphs & handful breeding adults) ~0.22 cents a piece~ 500 for $80 (all sized nymphs & handful breeding adults) ~0.16 cents a piece~ 1000 for $130 (all sized nymphs & 2 handfuls breeding adults) ~0.13 cents a piece~ 2000 for $220 (all sized nymphs & 2 handfuls breeding adults) ~0.11 cents a piece~ Hissing Roaches - Adult Colony for Sale! Will sell the colony, 12 adults (8f, 4m) and a brood of babies (a month or so old) for $15 by themselves or $10 with an order of Dubias from above! Basically I am charging for the adults ONLY, the babies are free. The babies tend to stress pretty easy at this young age and therefor I am not charging for them, just throwing them in as part of the deal. Also the adults are from 3 different sources so inbreeding is not an issue in this small group! I plan to get what I need to sell out in a few shipments. Thats my plan anyways Just e-mail me with your zipcode and what and how many you are interested in and I will send you a total. PLEASE, SERIOUS inquiries only and sorry but it will be on a first come first serve basis and no holds this time. I had a lot of people change their minds, even after holding lots for a week or two. This time I am trying something different as I need some extra $ soon Contact me with questions or a total at: adopted_daughter@hotmail.com Thank you! Lindsay
