dogpack
My main source for heat during the winter is a wood stove. This is nice because when there is no electricity I still have heat provided I have enough wood. I also have an oil filled electric heater but this requires electricity. Keeping my insects warm enough is a concern especially when my resources for heat are iffy. Solar is ok but for off-grid batteries are required. This is expensive but something for the future. What emergency preparations have you considered or prepped? What are you going to do if evacuation is necessary? What about who will take care of your insects when you are unable to do this short term, long term, or forever? I appreciate your ideas and hope we can help each other take great care of our insects, thank you for your help.
