Ralph
I have a walnut-size Tenodera a. sinensis ootheca outside. I was wondering at about what month, and maybe what time in the month it would hatch. I live in Iowa, where spring is in the process of springing.
Keith
I'd say April or May possibly. They usually hatch early morning like 5 or 6 AM
Ralph
Hmm, later than I had hoped. But still, thanks Keith!

Jess565
I'd wait for more replies for hatching month as im not 100% sure, but I do know most hatch early morning. Ive hatched two chinese ootheca's. I used a heat pad and kept the tank humid and around about a month later it hatched, I dont think in captive the month really matters. Both mine hatched at late morning times but before noon, hope this helps but I'd try and be prepared at all times for the arrival
