thinkharder
My name is Karen. I have a Sudanese plated lizard. I have a feeder colony of superworms for her, but I'd like to start a colony of roaches. Since she's a smallish lizard, she'd only eat nymphs, of course. 1. Do you currently raise any roaches? No. Can't find anyone selling and shipping in Canada yet. 2. If so, how many? I'm looking for at least six adults pairs of Blaptica dubia, but I'll take nymphs too. 3. Do you culture roaches as pets or feeders? They'll be feeders. But I kinda look on the breeders as pets. My adult darkling beetles are cute. Well, at least I think so. 4. If feeders, what kinds? I want to start with Blaptica dubia. 5. Are there any specific roach questions that you would like to ask the community? Yes. Exactly how should roaches be shipped to keep warm. I need to know in case I have to tell a shipper how to do it. 6. How did you find our community? Websearching for Canadian sellers of Blaptica dubia. Allpet Roaches
Hi Karen, Thanks for signing in. I know it's difficult to find roaches in Canada but there are people keeping them. I'll PM you a few older posts I found that might help (older from the new board, I didn't check the archived posts).
