Peter Clausen
I was walking through a botanical garden in Maui in March (2007) and saw a roach moving very slowly on top of a leaf. I already had my camera out because I always have it out when I'm on vacation in a new place with new bugs. I was looking through the lens and JUST about to snap the photo when out of nowhere this small lizard pounced on the roach. I had wanted a photo of the roach but this was maybe even better! I didn't have an opportunity to take a very clear photo but it was definitely a dramatic and unexpected moment.
