Zephyr
I went to the mall with my friends today, and of all things, found a COCKROACH scurrying across the floor. My friend's first reaction was to try to squash it, but I grabbed it before he could really put pressure on it. She's a little shook up. Looks to be some sort of Pycnoscelus sp. Don't know how it got there. I'll have pics soon.
CodeWilster
So Pycnoscelus sp "Mall Locale"? That's cool Did you find it near the food court?
Ralph
P. surinamensis sure does get around, does it look significantly different? Where are you, by the way?
Zephyr
I'm in Michigan. It doesn't look like my P. surinamensis. It's a little more red. *I found it on the steps near one of the water displays in the mall; there were a lot of plants around so I figure it could be from wherever they got the plants. Probably Florida.
Peter Clausen
A friend found some on some plants she purchased a year ago.
BugmanPrice
There's more than one species in Pycnoscelus so who knows... I'm excited to see some pictures!
Zephyr
My camera's not cooperating with photographing at the moment... I'm going to wait until she molts one more time til I take a pic. She was very thin; she's very plump from carrots and oak leaves now.
