Zephyr
I was shocked to see this adult female Parcoblatta "americana" molting! She had already laid several ootheca, and now this! Note the color of the shed exo is the same as her current color.
Allpet Roaches
Are you sure about the eggcases?? It doesn't even look like she has wingpads after that molt.
Zephyr
Are you sure about the eggcases?? It doesn't even look like she has wingpads after that molt. 150% sure. She's the only female (heck the only roach bigger than 1/4") in the enclosure. I saw her laying an ooth myself. There have been no other adults in the enclosure since about 2 months ago. Ralph
Are you sure about the eggcases?? It doesn't even look like she has wingpads after that molt. That's very strange... she looks like a sub/pre-sub to me too! Could you post a close-up of the wing(pad) area of the shed and the roach? I will next week when I check on her; The other odd thing is that this is the one species of Parcoblatta that just isn't doing well for me.
