Allpetroaches
Posted by Sky on 2/3/2006, 5:09 pm 24.117.101.183 I have recently noticed that my smallest E. prosticus and B. discoidalis nymphs cannot climb up into the food dishes I have for them. I was thinking of making a styrofoam platfrom with sunken dishes that would make it easy for the smallest nymphs to get to the food. My questions is that if I use some smooth platic dishes, with glue on the sides for climbing, will the roaches eat the glue? Or does anyone have any other suggestions for good dishes? gabonica@smitho.com
Allpetroaches
Posted by dave on 2/4/2006, 12:15 am, in reply to "Feeding dishes" 68.186.122.2 I use vermiculite for subltrate and sink the food dish to grade, they then go for a walk and fall into the dish. If I notice them not able to get back out,I inivert a small peice of egg crate 1/2 in 1/2 out of the food dish, this makes a little bridge for the little farts. davegrimm1@yahoo.com
