specimen24-6 Posted October 23, 2013 Share Posted October 23, 2013 I currently have 2 zophobas larvea and one imago out of a group of 24 I think Im probably going to get more since there a dollar for 24 I think but first I what to know how do you successfully rear/ breed them Ps: I now keep my 2 remaining larvea in a petri dish with a small amount of oat meal (tring to get them to pupate) I also keep my imago in separate a petri dish but with potting soil and oats meal but I will move him In a jar soon enough. Hisserdude Posted October 23, 2013 Share Posted October 23, 2013 aparently you need compost for and egg laying sustrate, acording to the ultimate guide to breeding beetles. keep substrate more moist than you would mealworms. and for pupating just keep doing what you are doing. hope this helps!
