willl the nymph

Most species look almost exactly the same with slight color variations. But I'm assuming you mean hissers? My G. portentosa have a huge variation in color, over 50 adults from the same 6 parents. They are one of the most varied cockroaches I've ever seen. So with most roaches yes, with hissers, especially G. portentosa... Not really guaranteed.

A lot of my young ones are a lot darker in coloration at least until 4th instal and sometimes later. They gradually lighten up. Some also go from a maroonish overall coloration to almost jet-black adults.

I'm hoping so! I've got two nymphs from a pair of utterly stunning dark red and black hissers with really bold stripes, who both died not long ago. I've never seen hissers as pretty as those, so I'm really hoping the nymphs grow up like that, at the moment they're both very strongly striped light sandy and grey, so it's looking positive!!

What do yours' parents look like?
