MrCrackerpants
Great species. One of my favorites. Do you have the other forms in your colony?
Nicolas Rousseaux
I'm just starting the colony, but what other forms are you talking about? I'm curious about that
MrCrackerpants
I got this species from Kyle (roachcrossing.com). I have brown and black winged males. I also have brown and black females but the margin on the pronotum for the 2 female types is different. I emailed Kyle and he said the colonies will produce these to variable types. Both did not show up until I had a bigger mature colony. this is one of my favorite roaches of all time.
platymeris
Nice, thanks for sharing! Would you be able to post a comparison pic of the two color forms?
Nicolas Rousseaux
I don't have the two forms, but that's maybe because I have just a few of them... I'll check that when the next generation will grow up

tecrecycling
These are cool, however, Kyle wasn't kidding when he said this species is slow to reach maturity. I've had my colony for about 5 months and they still aren't fully developed.
tecrecycling
Actually, now that I viewed the photos above and after reviewing my colony I'm not sure that I have any females. I purchased 10 originally.

7tisix
Thinking about getting some of these to put in with some millipedes. Worried about them disturbing molting pedes. How far do they burrow under the substrate?
Nicolas Rousseaux
As far as they can I think
