Hisserdude
Some people put bugs in the fridge for a minute or two, it makes them quite lethargic. Be careful though, you might accidentally kill them if you leave them in too long. Hope this helps!
RomanBuck
I put my Peiplaneta species in the fridge so they dont escape as easily but it seems I have to leave them in there for quite a while.... I dont want to feeze them to death!
pannaking22
Periplaneta are pretty hardy, so I bet you could leave them in there for quite a while before they died. I do a fair amount of macrophotography, but unfortunately life gets in the way sometimes and I've left live beetles in the fridge for a week before getting around to photographing them and they're fine when I pull them out. Beetles are way different than roaches though, so a week might not be the best lol
RomanBuck
Yes but americana and austrailisiae need high humidity and when I got austrailisiae the guy said he wasn't sure if they would live in 30 degree weather through the mail

pannaking22
Ah that's right, I always forget about australasiae. I'm not as sure about those but I've seen americana running around when the temp is below 45F.
