Cooorndog
Smell coming from Dubai colony. I have a large colony that I just bought 1 month ago, did a clean out had quite a few dead roaches. It was over crowded with males I sorted and got ratio right. Have been told they may be in kidney failure due to the previous owner feeding cat food. RomanBuck
Dubia colonies can stink if too much humidity builds up. Also taking dead roaches out helps a bit. Maybe add some cleaner crew?
Hisserdude
It was probably the dead roaches, and feeding them cat food should not cause any health problems. The smell might also be rotten food. A clean up crew would probably help. Also, should this be in a different section?

It is bad to have dead dubias in the first place. Dubias can be kept kind of dry. Humidity causes molds to grow. When the dubias die do they have pink color? Are the ones that die adult males or nymphs?
