aoikirin 6
I have noticed these little creatures on pieces of carrot in some of my enclosures. They seem wingless and I took pictures but this site doesn't accept them. What do they look like and how can I get rid of them? Are they dangerous for my roaches? They are pets for me and I don't want any preventable harm to come to them. Btw these are not white and are larger than the grain mites I've seen online.
Bmaines96 20
That looks much more like a springtails that a mite, normal clean up crew that's occasionally pops up randomly so you should be all good?

Test Account 64
Well, people actually buy springtails to put in roach tanks on certain occasions some springer spp can stress some roaches, but this seems very rare

VincentRosas 0
Well, it looks like springtime. As it is harmless to people and animals, but they can cause problems in large numbers of plants. If you want to eliminate them, then you can use a household aerosol spray. But, most of the Nassau County exterminator says that treatments by yourself, however, are a short term solution. So, it is best that you can hire a pest professional who will apply treatments and application whenever it is necessary.
