charzard
Hi everyone! My name is Charlie. I'm reading up on care for cockroaches as I'm very interested in keeping some. I hope to learn some informative things from this forum! Any advice on beginner species to keep? Thanks ahead of time!
Psydeus565
Usually hissers are among the easiest to care for, but I am a tad bit biased... Welcome!
Hisserdude
Welcome to the forum! Like @Psydeus565 said, hissers are great for beginners, so are many of the Blaberus species.
charzard
I'm currently browsing Peter's shop. Blaberus craniifer are beautiful. Any advice on heating for them (if necessary)? If I have them in a plastic container or would glass be better for heating purposes?

Room temps should be OK for that species, so long as your house is at least kept in the low 70s. If heating is neccessary, which it sometimes is this time of year, try getting a reptile heat pad that you can affix to the side of your enclosure, and a plastic enclosure should be OK.
