ive never really had any trouble with perlite **that i know of*** i do have several of my moisture loving species on perlite and many off them don't produced nearly the numbers i would expect so that is entirely possible

i have several different large colonies i use for feeders which i sell occasionally but im not really a seller either. i mostly want to combine some of my smaller starter colonies

ahh, thanks. i didnt even think about that. makes perfect sense though, i dont' have clean up crews with any of my current spp that have ooths. once i decide which ones i want to try together i will come back here to ask about them. i want to keep a few more species but am pretty much maxed out...

is there any reason that i shouldn't keep multiple spp in one container assuming that that the spp wont hybridize and have similar care requirements? i can't think of any reason not to but am wondering if i'm missing something

do you mean you don't bother with night drops for this species or at all? im trying to decide if i want to set mine up with a hot/less hot cycle to match up with my day/night cycle. in the back of my head im kind of leaning towards neither being needed
