So had a little foray to my collecting area this morning and got five sacks of forest floor sub The sub is compressed tightly in the sacks so there's probably 300+ litres which took me about half an hour plus the walk to and from the woods with my trolley I collect it from deciduas woodland...

So I've finally got some Pandas only 10 but it's a start and they're brilliant  SB 

I keep finding more Hoff babies every time I feed them only started with 10 but 1 died I've now got at least 50 so well happy especially as I havn't had then very long And I was originally going to move them as I thought the temp on their shelf was too high (80+) but they're thriving so...

Nymphs are growing very fast and I've noticed several mature females which is probably why I've had the population explosion  So Hisserdude suggested upping the temp which has had a dramatic effect on breeding and it  was the only parameter that was changed so to anyone out there struggling...

UPDATE 6/10/22 So sadly two of my males have now passed but I still have 1 left and he's still going strong very active and eating well but I had pretty much given up hope of rescuing my breeding project and a years time/labor investment And the good news is I've just managed to get him 2...

They've now been upgraded to a 40 litre tub  All 7 nymphs looking well and have grown considerably since I got them Bark cave and inside on the floor of the cave a flat bark with a half round on top so they've got a cave inside a cave  SB

Feeding my Lurida colony and actually managed to snatch a pic of an adult (normally buried) and the sub is now heaving with new nymphs so a colony explosion at last but it's taken a while but things noticeably improved when I upped temps to 90 ish as all other parameters stayed the same ...

Just a few pics One of my P Nivea colonies I've had this colony for many years finally had to split it into two but still 1000s in there  84 litre tub full Voile lid multi layered bark with leaf litter/rotten wood sub which has never been changed just added to as necessary there's zillions...

So I'm amazed how many nymphs I still have left after taking out 70+ adults for the adult breeding colony  And there are many many times more nymphs buried  Already got new nymphs in the adult colony so I'll have A LOT of Domino's next year then I'll move them into a big display bio tank  SB 

My forest Scorplings are eating/growing/moulting very well I'll be moving them to bigger pots soon and the incubator has also worked amazingly well  SB 

Quick pic of my dwarf hisser nymphs in the food dish which was full last night and I sprinkled some on the bark as well  I've noticed nymphs of all species are very protein hungry even when the adult of the species might not be so I've always made high protein food available to all my Roach...
