male with short antennae and bad coordination

He can most likely breed yes. The adult females are almost certainly already pregnant if they came to you as adults.

    possible prolapse in female

She is a hisser, yes? If so than what she may be doing is "airing out" her ootheca. It is kind of difficult to see in that photo to be honest. Hopefully that's all it is, and it is normal for her to do so once mature and breeding.

    Hissing cockroach mite infestation

Increased moisture also helps mites unfortunately.

    Hissing cockroach mite infestation

Some will get stuck in the barrier. An increase in springtail numbers might offer competition to the mites' food supply.

How to get rid of (grain?) mites on smokybrown cockroach's body?

I've never really had this exact issue thankfully. I'd probably try placing small apple pieces all over their bin and then throw them away later that day or the next day then put fresh apple pieces and repeat in hopes that you throw away most of the mites on apple pieces. At the same time I'd...

    Discussion thread - What's your favorite genera/species?

I want to say that they have specialized piercing mouthparts when young used to pierce mom and slurp/drink. Said mouthparts are lost at some point. It is very crazy cool! Mine are in a slump unfortunately- I need to pay them more attention.

I wouldn't be worried at all. You shouldn't have any problems at all.

    Hello, from Indiana!

If you want to keep their future babies, I would recommend a gasketed/waterproof storage tote/bin with added ventilation. Lots of great easy to access care info here: https://www.invertebratedude.com/p/madagascar-hissing-cockroaches.html?m=1 If you don't use a gasket bin you will probably end up...

    Discussion thread - What's your favorite genera/species?

Thorax porcellana doesn't bolt. I haven't seen them fly. The very young feed from the mother. Just a guess on size but the adult females might be 3/4" and males are smaller and thinner. They do seem prone to fungal infection.

    Discussion thread - What's your favorite genera/species?

My favorite for a good while now has been Thorax porcellana. My second favorite is Plectoptera poeyi. I can't wait to have a whole bunch of both but it has been slow going. I don't have great photos of either of them. But here is a large P. poeyi nymph and an adult female T. porcellana.

    strange hissing cockroach situation

I vote for old jelly. The description fits what happens to jellies I use as they dry up. Possibly could be slime mold as well.
