I've never tried anything but fresh, but if they don't have any salt or added sugars or preservatives I think it should be ok ... I'm not an expert though. I have used canned peas that were free of salt before. I rinsed them thoroughly and then used a dehydrator .. my roaches and isopods love...

I freeze mine for 5-10 days, and then soak them for a week or two. I don't bake because it kills a lot of the nutrition from everything I've read.

I was reading your care guide, and saw your mention of fruits and veg not being eaten much. Do you bother offering very often? Right now I have chick crumble and a piece of dog kibble in there is all, along with leaf litter on top and mixed in the substrate.
