Hello Everyone,

like the Title says, what makes a Princisia vanwaerebeki to a Tricolor? How must be a Triclor look like to be one?

kind regards

Here's what a "Princisia vanwaerebeki Tricolor" is supposed to look like:

BTW, your "Princisia Tricolour" are our "Gromphadorhina grandidieri" I'm pretty sure, not sure which name is correct though, as Princisia is probably not a valid genus, yet wild G.grandidieri look a lot different than our captive stock...

The diference between the "black and white" and the "tricolor" form is mainly the color on the thorax: the vestigal wings are brown/red on tricolor, darker, on the black and white. The shape of the stripes are also a bit diferent... But there are still variations in each strain.

So, what does your average "Princisia" look like?  I'm asking for a verbal description, not a picture as I won't be able to see the picture.  I just got a pair and my family insists my male is brown.  Could a "Princisia" appear brown?
