Daniel Patón
Greetings, I would like to ask if we were to set up a cockroach farm to process organic waste, which species would we choose for their voracity?. Thanks
mason
I’ve heard orange heads are very ferocious and actually need lots of food otherwise they will nibble on each others wings, so I would recommend those. Orange heads also grow faster and quicker.
GoldCoastRoaches
Agree on the orange heads, and Madagascar hissers. You will also want some buffalo beetles to really clean bones and some of the really nasty stuff the roaches might not eat as thoroughly. Love the idea of a natural compost farm! Good luck and let us know how it goes!
