Roachman26
I got a really cool insect and spider book for Christmas. Its called "Field Guide To Insects And Spiders Of North America". Its put out by the National Wildlife Federation and the author is Arthur V. Evans. Its got sections on roaches, mantids, beetles, silverfish and firebrats, springtails and many others. It was first published in 2008, so its pretty up to date and its got some cool insect parts diagrams in the front cover. I've already learned a lot from it and thought some of you might find it interesting too. Its got a close up pic of a mantid on the cover. I don't know which species, but its green and looks very contemplative.
Ralph
I got the same book! I think the mantid is a young nymph of Stagmomantis sp.
