KrakenQueen
I have a queen showing what I think are signs of "labor" before birthing. IE: Heavy breathing or pushing of the abdomen, separating herself from the main colony, and searching out the hot moist side of the tank. Has anyone witnessed pre-birthing activity? Am I correct to think this is labor activity? My female "Queen" as I call her, is about 4" long and a year old. Her and her colony are in a 25-ish gallon glass tank with sand substrate, are fed a variety of veggies, unused frozen mice/rats, and dogfood, but prefer (and absolutely love) the powdered "Complete Greens". Sounds about right. You'll be able to tell for yourself soon enough.
