satchellwk Posted November 23, 2012 Share Posted November 23, 2012 It can depend on the species. The standard that I use is store-bought eco-earth / coconut fiber. Along with that, I add varying amounts of fallen leaves and rotten wood (usually oak), which I microwave to sterilize then store it in the freezer.
