Retro_Panda
Do dwarf hissers (E chopardi) tend to be the most skittish/fastest of the hisser species? I think I read somewhere due to these characteristics they make the worst pets out of all the hissers. Anyone that has first hand experience with these know if that is true or Cheers... Tenevanica
I have experience with E. javanica, which is very similar to E. chopardi. They are more skittish than normal hissers, and are smaller so they can fit in tighter spaces, but they are by no means the worst hisser pet. I'm not sure if there is such thing as a bad hisser pet. Dwarf hissers have more personality in my opinion, and they are more active. They are a wonderful display species!
pannaking22
E. chopardi is also supposed to be good if you want to handle them more frequently because they aren't as spiny.
Tex
I love em! There seems to be plenty hanging out in plain sight until I open the bin then most run for cover under the leaves and bark. Fun to handle, multiply like mad, and as it has been said before CUTE!
