UncommonRoachBoy
Since being in the roach hobby, I've received many packages varying in size, insulation and the amount of protection. Most of my smaller shipments were received in a "small priority mail flat rate box" in my opinion, these boxes are really too small for insulation or protection of the roach. The next best thing and the point of this post: The priority mail shoebox! For just 25 cents more, you can have double the height and a few more inches of width too protect and insulate your roaches. lovebugfarm
I know i tend to use the small flat rate boxes. It works most of the time but the only time i recieved doas they came in the small boxes. For me when shiping a few small things its hard to justify spending the extra 3 bucks but when it comes to extream heat or cold i think i will be useing bigger boxes from now on why risk our invert friends. Also i should note locally we only have 3 flat rate sizes to choose from.

pannaking22
Walmart has a variety of cheap boxes and will have the size you need. I only use USPS boxes if I have an old one someone sent me bugs in. 6x6x6 at Walmart costs around $0.70 and it's very cheap to ship it through USPS or FedEx.
