Thanks :) I'm so glad to hear that I'm not the only one who thinks the ootheca in the pic looks nice :)

Always fun to see what new tiny species you're working on! These sure look fast, and have really impressive leg spines...

Do you know the purpose of the curved ooth?

Oh ya. Not only are these fast, but they also FLY so they can be pain in the butt to take pics sometimes. LOL

Unfortunately, I don't know what purpose the curve serves for, but I have a feeling that it's to make the oothe look more like a seed.

XD Should have known! Ah, the struggles of a roach hobbyist. Impressive specimens anyway!

These guys are still doing great for me. Interestingly it's the only Ectobiid I have that seem to do well with large T. tormentosa population (and may even prey on them as I've seen these guys eating A. vulgare before).

Beautiful species and glad to see they're doing well for you! Might have to get some of these in the future since I've really enjoyed my Ischnoptera sp. Costa Rica :)

Give it a shot! They are fairly cheap on roachcrossing.com so I think it's worth it :)
