Hi, nice to meet everyone! I'm glad to meet people with the same interest. I have two Madagascar hissing roaches and I consider them my babies as I plan on getting different kinds of roaches soon. My goal is to own more exotic pets in the future as I love being a keeper and a creepy critter enthusiast. I do not like the term collector or the word hobby when doing husbandry because I feel like that takes away the emotional connection we have to our pets. Even if they may not be able to do the same I feel we should love every creature on earth, and be more weary of humans, than animals. Though, that does not take away the precautions to keep us and others safe when handling exotic creatures, but I am aware there isn't much danger when handling roaches, but I guess I am going on a tangent Anyway, just letting you all know up front I am actually a cis-male, but I like to go by Mother Roache online. On the internet I rarely go by my real name as I use the pseudonym "Damien Roache" when doing stuff on the interwebs. I do not know why I go by that but I thought it was a cool name so I went for it. I went by the last name "Roache" even before I got into keeping them, but I like to add an "e" at the end to add a little flair. So please refer to me either as "Mother Roache" or "Damien" while we talk please. I hope we can get to know each other more as much as I hope to meet friends on this website. I hope you all have a nice rest of your day and I can not wait to talk to you all as we share knowledge with each other. ~
